The Borno State Ministry of Water Resources is responsible for the sustainable management, development, and distribution of water resources across the state. The Ministry plays a vital role in ensuring access to safe, clean, and reliable water for domestic use, agriculture, sanitation, and industrial purposes.

In a region recovering from conflict and climate-related challenges, the Ministry is focused on expanding access to potable water, rehabilitating damaged water infrastructure, and promoting sustainable water practices. Through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions, we are improving water governance and building climate resilience for communities.
